East Islip Redmen (Islip Terrace, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Central Islip Musketeers (Central Islip, NY), 8-6 in a non-league test.
The Redmen now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Islip for a non-league test on Saturday, May 5. East Islip will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Kings Park (Kings Park, NY). The Buccaneers record now stands at 14-0.
In their next game, the Musketeers face the Rocky Point Eagles (Rocky Point, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 9. Central Islip will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record.
