In Thursday's non-league contest, the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Carson will attempt to better on its 23-13 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 13-15 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA).
