Ohio High School Baseball - Linsly defeats Fort Frye
May 5, 2023: Beverly, OH 45715 Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH), 9-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Linsly upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Cadets travel to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH) to battle the Pioneers in a Interstate Prep test on Saturday, May 6. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Western Reserve Academy lost 16-9 in their recent non-league test against Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH)
With the defeat, Fort Frye falls to 16-3 on the season. The Cadets travel to Marietta (Marietta, OH) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-15. Marietta won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Belpre (Belpre, OH)
