Massachusetts High School Baseball - Nipmuc Regional gets by Leicester
May 5, 2023: Leicester, MA 01524 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Nipmuc Regional Warriors (Upton, MA) and the host Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA), saw Nipmuc Regional's baseball squad knock off Leicester by a count of 10-7.
Coming up next, the Warriors play the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) in a Dual Valley battle, on Monday, May 8. Nipmuc Regional will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Blue Raiders enter the battle with a 10-3 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, MA).
The Wolverines now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league battle on Sunday, May 7. Leicester will play a Pirates squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Uxbridge (Uxbridge, MA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-4.
