The Plattsburgh Hornets crushed the host Northern Adirondack Bobcats baseball team by a count of 19-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeastern Clinton for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Saturday, May 6. Plattsburgh will face a Cougars team coming off a 9-4 league win over Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
Next, the Bobcats face the AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout, on Monday, May 8. Northern Adirondack will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 0-11 record after their 23-6 league loss to Peru (Peru, NY).
