The Glenbard West Hilltoppers held off the host Maine South Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now have a 28-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hersey for a non-league test on Friday, May 5. Glenbard West will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 24-3.

The Hawks (12-10) will now prepare for their test against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league test with a 25-4 record. In their last test, Hersey held off Warren Township (Gurnee, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
