May 5, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70806 The Catholic-B.R. Bears triumphed over the visiting Newman Greenies lacrosse team by a score of 10-5 in Friday's non-league match.
With the win, Catholic-B.R. upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bears host Jesuit (New Orleans, LA) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league match on Sunday, May 7. The Blue Jays go into the match with a record of 3-0. Jesuit won 11-10 in their recent non-league match against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA)
With the defeat, Newman drops to 2-3 on the season.
