May 5, 2023: Marcy, NY 13403 In Friday's non-league contest, the Whitesboro Warriors (Marcy, NY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY), by a margin of 21-6.
With the triumph, Whitesboro moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a Section 3 Tri-Valley contest on Monday, May 8. The Golden Knights come into the contest with a record of 4-6. Holland Patent won 5-4 in their recent non-league contest against Canastota (Canastota, NY)
In their next game, the Comets play the Indian River Warriors (Philadelphia, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier A contest, on Monday, May 8. Carthage will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 21-16 non-league win over Harrisville (Harrisville, NY).
