New York High School Softball - Catholic Central can't hold off Schalmont
May 5, 2023: Schenectady, NY 12306 The Schalmont Sabres softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Catholic Central Crusaders to 2 in the Sabres league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Schalmont moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Sabres travel to Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY) to clash with the Riders in a Section 2 Colonial game on Sunday, May 7. The Riders come into the game with a record of 13-0. Ichabod Crane won 33-0 in their recent league game against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY)
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial game, on Tuesday, May 9. Catholic Central will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 7-9 record after their 5-2 league loss to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY).
