Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) and the visiting Columbus Christian Crusaders (Columbus, IN), witnessed South Decatur's softball squad prevail over Columbus Christian by a count of 23-5.

The Cougars now sport a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Waldron for a Mid-Hoosier match on Monday, May 8. South Decatur will meet a Mohawks squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Mohawks record now stands at 3-7.
