Ohio High School Softball - Van Buren bounces Leipsic
May 5, 2023: Van Buren, OH 45889 Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Leipsic Vikings (Leipsic, OH), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Black Knights now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elmwood for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. Van Buren will face a Royals squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Rossford (Rossford, OH). The Royals record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Leipsic falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Paulding (Paulding, OH) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Paulding won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH)
