California High School Softball - San Luis Obispo bounces Morro Bay
May 5, 2023: Morro Bay, CA 93442 San Luis Obispo Tigers (San Luis Obispo, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), 7-0 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Ynez for a CCAA - Ocean challenge on Wednesday, May 10. San Luis Obispo will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-6 league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, Morro Bay falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA) to face the Conquistadores in a CCAA - Ocean challenge on Friday, May 12. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Cabrillo won 23-6 in their recent league challenge against Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA)
