May 5, 2025: Goochland, VA 23063 The Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), 12-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlottesville for a Jefferson challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Goochland will clash with a Black Knights team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, Amelia County drops to 2-6 on the year. The Raiders host Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a James River challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Prince Edward County lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)
