The Chichester Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Interboro Buccaneers to 2 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now hold a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Ghost Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Chichester will play a Firebirds team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Firebirds record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Interboro drops to 9-6 on the year. The Buccaneers host Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA) to play the Knights in a Delaware Valley test on Thursday, May 8. The Knights go into the test with a record of 3-8. Academy Park lost 13-12 in their recent league test against Chester (Chester, PA)
