The Columbus East Olympians baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Southport Cardinals to 3 in the Olympians non-league win on Monday.

The Olympians now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Batesville for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Columbus East will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-2 league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, Southport drops to 9-5 on the year. The Cardinals host Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a Conference Indiana test on Wednesday, May 7.
