Minnesota High School Baseball - Willmar loses to Marshall
May 5, 2025: Willmar, MN 56201 Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Willmar Cardinals (Willmar, MN), 10-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Marshall advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Peter (St. Peter, MN) to battle the Saints in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 6. The Saints come into the match with a record of 6-3. St. Peter won 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Worthington (Worthington, MN)
The Cardinals now have a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocori for a Central Lakes match on Thursday, May 8. Willmar will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 9-2.
