The Monroe Central Seminoles baseball squad (Woodsfield, OH), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Union Local Jets (Belmont, OH)

With the triumph, Union Local moves its record to 11-7 on the season. The Jets host Shadyside (Shadyside, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Ohio Valley Athletic AA contest on Wednesday, May 7. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 9-6.

The Seminoles now possess a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madonna for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. Monroe Central will confront a Blue Dons squad coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Wellsville (Wellsville, OH). The Blue Dons record now stands at 19-4.
