Maine High School Lacrosse - Marshwood overwhelms Cape Elizabeth
May 5, 2025: South Berwick, ME 03908 The Marshwood Hawks lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers to 7 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Hawks now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host York for a Class B challenge on Thursday, May 8. Marshwood will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Cape Elizabeth falls to 0-3 on the year. The Capers host Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 10. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Thornton Academy won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Portland (Portland, ME)
