North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, North Polk moves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Comets host Valley (West Des Moines, IA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 12-2.

The Bombers now sport a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host West Marshall for a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. Ballard will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Creston (Creston, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-8.
