The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) soccer nipped the visiting Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Comets now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Lisle for a Illinois Central Eight challenge on Thursday, May 8. Reed-Custer will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.
