Missouri High School Soccer - Metro knocks off Brentwood
May 5, 2025: St. Louis, MO 63108 The Metro Panthers (St. Louis, MO) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Brentwood Eagles (Brentwood, MO), 8-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a Class 1 District 2 challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Metro will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to MICDS (St. Louis, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Brentwood moves to 6-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hancock (St. Louis, MO) to encounter the Tigers in a Class 1 District 1 challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Hancock lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bayless (St. Louis, MO)
