May 5, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 In Monday's non-league outing, the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Lapeer Lightning.
The Oilers (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Midland (Midland, MI). The Chemics go into the Saginaw Valley outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Midland got by Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Lightning confront the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 7. Lapeer will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Dow (Midland, MI).
