Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 11-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lake Central improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to play the Trojans in a game on Tuesday, May 6. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 8-1.

The Red Devils now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chesterton for a non-league game on Thursday, May 22.
