May 5, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 In Monday's non-league test, the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) lacrosse team edged the visiting Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL), by a count of 8-7.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a South Suburban test, on Wednesday, May 7. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Porters enter the test with a 10-4 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to York (Elmhurst, IL).
The RedHawks (6-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, St. Rita got by Marmion (Aurora, IL), 20-3, in a league test.
