Iowa High School Soccer - Valley nudges Hoover
May 5, 2025: West Des Moines, IA 50266 The Valley Tigers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Hoover Huskies to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodward-Granger for a non-league bout on Friday, May 9. Valley will play a Hawks squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Northwest (Waukee, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Hoover moves to 1-11 on the year. The Huskies travel to Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-15. Waterloo East lost 8-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA)
