The Meridian Hawks softball squad (Macon, IL), was routed 5-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL)

With the triumph, Auburn improves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to face the Bluejays in a Sangamo contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Bluejays enter the contest with a record of 7-9. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central won 8-5 in their recent non-league contest against Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL)
