The Central Noble Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Fairfield Falcons to 7 in the Cougars league win on Monday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrett for a Northeast Corner battle on Tuesday, May 6. Central Noble will confront a Railroaders team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Lakeland (LaGrange, IN). The Railroaders record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Fairfield moves to 10-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to Eastside (Butler, IN) to confront the Blazers in a Northeast Corner battle on Tuesday, May 6. The Blazers come into the battle with a record of 15-3. Eastside won 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against Fairfield (Goshen, IN)
