In Monday's league match, the visiting Gladstone Braves softball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Kingsford Flivvers.

The Braves (13-0) will now prepare for their match against Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Sentinels go into the Great Northern U.P. match with a 15-5 record. In their last match, Marquette was routed by Negaunee (Negaunee, MI), 6-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Flivvers battle the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. match, on Tuesday, May 6. Kingsford will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
