The Pitman Panthers triumphed over the host Salem Rams softball squad by a count of 19-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Timber Creek Regional Chargers (Erial, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 6. Pitman will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 18-1 league win over Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ).

The Rams (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against LEAP Academy (Camden, NJ). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, LEAP Academy overcame Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ), 28-8, in a non-league challenge.
