Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ashland Hornets (Ashland, ME), 18-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Katahdin moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Washburn (Washburn, ME) to battle the Beavers in a Class D North match on Thursday, May 7. The Beavers come into the match with a record of 1-2. Washburn lost 12-4 in their recent league match against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME)
