New York High School Baseball - Sacred Heart loses to LaSalle Academy
May 6, 2021: Yonkers, NY 10703 In Thursday's league game, the visiting LaSalle Academy Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 17-4 victory over the Sacred Heart Irish.

Tied at four going into the top of the sixth inning, the La Salle Cardinals sent 18 men to the plate and exploded for 13 runs in route to a 17-4 (six inning) knockout over the Irish of Sacred Heart to take Game 2 of the 2021 CHSAA Varsity Baseball “A” Division Championship Series at Welty Park, in Yonkers.
Izzac Garcia (W, 3-0) pitched two stellar innings in relief of starter, Alex Dayle (ND, 3 1/3, 2H, 4ER, 11BBs, 8Ks), to pick up his third win of the season. Eamon Moogan tossed a clean inning in the bottom of the sixth to help La Salle take a 2-0 lead in the Best of seven series.
