In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Vanguard Knights baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the River Ridge Royal Knights.

The Knights (16-10) will now prepare for their game against Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Gators go into the non-league game with a 19-8 record. In their last game, Land O' Lakes tipped Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL), 10-0, in a non-league game.
