The Mountain View Spartans routed the visiting Homestead Mustangs softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Friday's league battle.

The Spartans (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record.
