St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. David upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ) to battle the Lobos in a non-league test on Friday, May 12. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 24-4. Hayden won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ)

With the defeat, Anthem Prep falls to 14-5 on the season.
