Ohio High School Baseball - Ashland wallops Mapleton
May 6, 2023: Ashland, OH 44805 Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH), 12-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ashland upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Arrows host Wooster (Wooster, OH) to battle the Generals in a Ohio Cardinal test on Tuesday, May 9. The Generals come into the test with a record of 13-3. Wooster lost 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Lake (Uniontown, OH)
With the defeat, Mapleton falls to 10-5 on the season. The Mounties travel to Western Reserve (Collins, OH) to battle the Roughriders in a Firelands test on Monday, May 8. The Roughriders go into the match with a record of 5-5.
