Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) and the visiting River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL), saw Ashton-Franklin Center's baseball squad knock off River Ridge/Scales Mound by a count of 6-1.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Green Giants enter the battle with a 11-10 record after their 24-14 non-league win over Faith Christian (Williams Bay, WI).
