The Mahanoy Area Golden Bears baseball team (Mahanoy City, PA), was overwhelmed 15-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA)

The Hawkeyes now hold a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host MMI Preparatory School for a Wyoming Valley 2 outing on Tuesday, May 9. Hanover Area will confront a team coming off a 5-4 league win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The record now stands at 6-10.
