Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 24-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Ravens in a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 20-9. Rio Grande won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM)

With the defeat, Hobbs falls to 10-18 on the season.
