In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Manti Templars (Manti, UT) baseball squad triumphed over the host Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT), by a final score of 13-5.

With the win, Manti upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Templars travel to Juab (Nephi, UT) to battle the Wasps in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Wasps come into the challenge with a record of 22-3. Juab won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Emery (Castle Dale, UT)

With the defeat, Union falls to 17-8 on the season. The Cougars travel to Richfield (Richfield, UT) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Richfield won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Providence Hall (Herriman, UT)
