Illinois High School Lacrosse - Evanston drops to Lyons
May 6, 2023: Evanston, IL 60201 Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL), 14-4 in a non-league battle.
The Lions now have a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naperville Central for a non-league battle on Monday, May 8. Lyons will clash with a Redhawks squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 6-8.
In their next game, the Wildkits clash with the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 8. Evanston will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 6-8 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL).
