New York High School Softball - Alden holds off Griffith Institute
May 6, 2023: Alden, NY 14004 The Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) softball the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), 12-10 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Eden (Eden, NY). The Raiders go into the Section 6 Erie County IV bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Eden by Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY), 5-4, in a league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a Section 6 Erie County IV bout on Monday, May 8. Griffith Institute will confront a Bears squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY). The Bears record now stands at 8-4.
