In Saturday's non-league contest, the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) softball team overwhelmed the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), by a margin of 8-0.

With the triumph, Sharpsville moves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Farrell (Farrell, PA) to play the Steelers in a District 10 Region 1 contest on Monday, May 8.
