New York High School Softball - Liverpool nudges Maine-Endwell
May 6, 2023: Liverpool, NY 13090 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Liverpool Warriors (Liverpool, NY) and the visiting Maine-Endwell Spartans (Endwell, NY), saw Liverpool's softball squad nip Maine-Endwell by a count of 1-0.
The Warriors now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Auburn for a Section 3 Central Counties - National match on Tuesday, May 9. Liverpool will face a Maroons squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Maroons record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Maine-Endwell falls to 11-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 9. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 13-0. Chenango Valley won 16-5 in their recent league match against Seton Catholic Central (Binghamton, NY)
