Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Mars holds off Hampton
May 6, 2024: Mars, PA 16046 Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mars upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Fightin' Planets travel to North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 7. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 12-4. North Catholic won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Butler (Butler, PA)
With the defeat, Hampton falls to 8-8 on the season. The Talbots travel to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to battle the Colts in a WPIAL 4A 3 test on Tuesday, May 7. The Colts come into the test with a record of 10-5. Chartiers Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA)
