The Mid Valley Spartans crushed the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Forge for a Lackawanna 2 bout on Tuesday, May 7. Mid Valley will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 6-1 league win over Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-7.

Next, the Crusaders face the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 bout, on Wednesday, May 8. Holy Cross will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 11-5 record after their 4-0 league win over Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA).
