Minnesota High School Softball - Mound-Westonka bounces Annandale
May 6, 2024: Mound, MN 55364 Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN), 9-4 in a league challenge.
The White Hawks now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Family Catholic for a Wright County challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Mound-Westonka will battle a Fire squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Fire record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Annandale falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Becker (Becker, MN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Becker won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Princeton (Princeton, MN)
