Michigan High School Softball - Byron bounces Mt. Morris
May 6, 2024: Byron, MI 48418 Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), 16-1 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Birch Run for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. Byron will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Mt. Morris falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kearsley (Flint, MI) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. Kearsley lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Linden (Linden, MI)
