New York High School Softball - Watertown bounces Carthage
May 6, 2024: Watertown, NY 13601 The Watertown Cyclones routed the visiting Carthage Comets softball squad by a final score of 12-6 in Monday's league battle.
The Cyclones (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Indian River (Philadelphia, NY). The Warriors enter the Section 3 Frontier A challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Indian River was routed by South Jefferson (Adams, NY), 17-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Carthage falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Comets host Proctor (Utica, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Proctor lost 30-0 in their recent league challenge against Camden (Camden, NY)
