May 6, 2024: Lakeside, OH 43440 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Norwalk Truckers (Norwalk, OH) and the host Danbury Lakers (Lakeside, OH), saw Norwalk's softball squad nip Danbury by a count of 5-4.
The Truckers now sport a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Firelands for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7. Norwalk will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to Brookside (Sheffield, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Danbury falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Lakers host Start (Toledo, OH) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 9-6. Start won 26-0 in their recent league match against Rogers (Toledo, OH)
