New York High School Softball - Dewey loses to New Dorp
May 6, 2024: Brooklyn, NY The New Dorp Central Cougars softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Dewey to 2 in the Central Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, New Dorp moves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Central Cougars travel to Tottenville (Staten Island, NY) to clash with the Pirates in a PSAL Staten Island A game on Wednesday, May 8. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 8-0. Tottenville won 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Scholars Academy (Queens, NY)
In their next game, the clash with the Roosevelt Cougars (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 10. Dewey will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record.
